Welcome to my Happy Ending
I Alice Lawrence have always
wanted to be in a fairytale and
Peter Pan is the one I choose
"Alice Lawrence is the name and erm...what was I saying again. Oh yeah, that's right; hi! Right, now where did I leave my spliff, I mean, homework, yes, must find my homework. Okay, now it's just the two of us I can tell you what is really going on. I am a slight drug addict I guess, but I don't want my family to find out. I care about them so much. They are pretty much my life and soul and not only do I care about them, I love them. My family are the ones that have always been there for me, ever since I was a little kid."
"I was born to my parents before my two brothers. I was always the cute little girl at the front of the classroom, answering all the questions right and catching the attention of the guys. My giggling cuteness caught their attention more. As I got though high school, the attention was bigger and I had more guys falling at my feet. I didn't mind, it was just that I didn't want a boyfriend, I was happy with my brothers who took care of me and I took care of them."
"The worst part of me is my cuteness and naivity. I seem to trust everyone I meet, even if I am warned against them. I don't believe that anyone can be so horrible that is causes them to be pure evil. I know people take advantage of me, but I don't really see it like that. I see all people as a new friend who wants to look after them as much as I want to look after them."
"I turned seventeen and that's when I met an amazing guy. Everyone told me that he wasn't the type of person I should hang around with. Everyone told me he was an idiot and that I would ruin my life. But I liked him. We hung out more and more and yeah, he was slightly persistant and I agreed to the drugs, but it was MY choice. I enjoy his company as as time as gone on, a year to be exact, I have grown to love him. I can't stand a day without him really. He is my best friend, and my only, unless you count my brothers, but that is it."

♣ ♥ ♥ ♣
Alice stood in front of her TV wearing a skinny blue t-shirt, some black skinny jeans and her odd socks. She slowly took the plastic guitar in her hands, sliding the strap over her head and moving her hair from underneath. She may have looked like a sad little girl, but she needed something to do and with everyone out, she was alone with the XBox, her chance to finally get 100% on 'Number of the Beast' by Iron Maiden on Expert. All that could be heard was the low hum of the XBox 360 fan, something she always loved to hear, meant the thing was working properly, so that was always a good sign. She slowly pressed down on the cold strum bar and pressed the green button to select that song. She placed her right hand on the make shift finger board...oh yes, Alice is left handed. She watched the screen intently and waited for the load screen to disappear and the game screen to appear.
As the game screen finally appeared, Alice stood with her legs slightly apart and starts to watch the screen even closer, her eye waiting for those coloured notes. That's when it happened, there was almost like an explosion of colour on the screen as fast moving green, red, yellow, blue and orange dots flashed on the screen. Her skinny fingers pressed hard on each button when needed and her other hand was working furiously on the stram bar, hitting every note she could, which was everyone so far and it would be all of them, if she could just nail this damned solo. Oh, if you think that's impressive, she was singing every single word while working this furious finger board work and every single word was absolutely correct. Then it happened, the notes got faster and it was solo time. Suddenly her fingers moved three times as fast and hit every single note, feeling like her fingers would either fall off or were on fire.
The last note finally rung out and she fell backwards on to the sofa behind her and started to laugh, that's when reality slapped her in the face. Did she miss the last note. She can't of, that would have killed her if she did. She blinked a few times, trying to get the colours out of her head as they blurred her vision. As they finally disappeared she looked up to see that bright and shiney '100%'. "YES!" She screamed aloud, so glad that she had finally done it, she was awesome at this game and she wouldn't stop there, oh no, she really wouldn't. She would carry on until she had rocked her fingers to the bone. "Ah!" She said aloud. She could feel the aching of her fingers as she knew would happen, it was the same with 'Free Bird' by Lynard Syknard. She let a soft sigh escape from her lips as she held her right arm up, nursing it slightly, hoping that this pain would pass quickly as she knew Roy would be home soon and waiting to kick her butt at Guitar Hero...for once.
Alice decided a lie down was needed as she seemed to be getting slightly dizy from the excitement. At least it wasn't as bad as when she got 100% on Free Bird and topped the XBox Live chart, now that was a joyous day for her, maybe a little too much. She started to wonder why she really played this game. There was no point to it, it didn't give her any future skills, she couldn't exactly put it on her CV, she wasn't getting any money out of it, and it really did kill her fingers. She shrugged lightly, it was just a game of pure fun and it was even more satisfying to see the look on Roy's face when she beat him at numerous games and even when he was being cocky, she beat him, and the joke arises that he doesn't believe girls can do any of this kind of thing, and she has proved time and time again, she is better at him at Guitar Hero...and most other things when it comes to it.
Alice has layed her head on the cushion at one end of the sofa and her feet were hanging off the other end. She could feel her eyelids getting a little heavy and gave in as she finally closed them. As she consumed into the darkness she could also feel her brain drifting to that peaceful place called sleep. She did need some as she hadn't actually slept in two days, mainly due to Mikey having nightmares and a slight case of insomnia. She wondered how long it would take to be interrupted, but she didn't care right now, she just wanted to get a little bit of sleep, after all that was better than nothing. Although her guess was currently at around ten minutes. That was it, she was asleep.
That's right, it took ten minutes. She had no choice as the front door opened suddenly. Her eyes opened quickly and she sat up to see who was there. It was him...Jordan. He was just standing there and she didn't know what to do or that he wanted. She didn't even know what she wanted, but she guessed she would figure it out some day, she hoped anyways. His footsteps echoed through out the room as he stepped towards her and her heart seemed to pound harder in her chest as she watched him. She felt his weight push her up on the sofa as he sat down next to her. Then she could feel his soft hands upon her own and she looked him straight in the eye. Now was the time to tell him there was nothing, but she just couldn't do it, she loved him too much, well, at least she thought she did. She just watched him as he ran his hand up her arm and then on the back of her neck. That's when he pulled her foward into a deep kiss, their lips touching and his weight pushing her back on the sofa as she kissed him back passionately, running her hand up his back.
Alice sat up quickly and gasped. She was breathing heavily, maybe that was the reason she couldn't sleep either. Every time she closed her eyes, all she ever seemed to see was Jordan, and that was never a good sigh. She was trying to regulate her breath but it wasn't really working. She finally grabbed her athsma pump from her pocket and took a deep breath as she pushed the button to release the medical drug. Her breathing finally calmed and she looked around the room carefully, looking for any traces of Jordan, there were none and she was glad of that. She then finally decided that sleep was over rated and all she needed was a good cold glass of water. She slowly rose to her legs and wondered to the kitchen. She grabbed a glass from the cupboard and walked back to the sink. She placed the glass under the running tap and turned the tap off once the glass was full. She turned and put rested against the worktop. She took a small sip of the water but her grip slipped and she ended up dropping the glass on the hard floor.
Alice sighed deeply with frustration and wished that this day would just end so she could go to bed before anything else happened. She grabbed a cloth from the draining board and a tissue from the roll. She then bent down the start mopping up the water with the cloth. She used the tissue to hold the glass she was slowly picking up. She was being as careful as possible so she didn't hurt herself, but she had a bad feeling she would. Finally, all the glass was in the tissue and not a scratch on her. She got a few sheets of newspaper out of the recyling bin under the sink and wrapped up the glass in the tissue and placed it in the bin. She bent down and picked the cloth back up and smiled lightly, not injuries, she was completely safe. She took a step foward and slipped in the left over water. She hit the floor, but not too hard. Although it initially hurt she just worked through the dull pain in the back of her head. Then the ironic side of this hit her and she cracked up giggling on the floor and just couldn't believe how stupid she was today.
